The primary aim of The Children's School is to fully develop the learning potential of each child through a program of
meaningful learning experiences developmentally appropriate for the young child. Your child's interests, thoughts and ideas are
important to us. Our classrooms reflect this as we see boys and girls going about the business of learning in an adventuresome way;
making finger paints, sorting leaves and rocks,
going to an apple orchard, making applesauce, visiting a pumpkin patch, going on a listening walk, going on an alphabet hunt,
tape recording what we like about our dads. Each of these experiences is laden with learning. Interest Centers and Activities set the stage for
learning and socializing:
- Block Construction & Transportation
- Creative Art
- Curiosity Center
- Dramatic Play
- Library
- Music
- Reading & Math Readiness, Games & Manipulatives
- Woodworking
Learning to share and learning to become effective in communication are the anticipated results of your child's curriculum experience.
